First, preheat your oven to 350 degrees. Then, combine all of your ingredients in a large mixing bowl, making sure to mix well. I use a large plastic container for this step, since it makes it super easy to get to all the ingredients.
Next, in a large flat baking plan lined with foil, turn out the turkey meatloaf mixture and shape it into a large loaf shape. Some people use a loaf pan, but I find that with this larger amount of meat (3 lbs), a flat baking pan works perfectly.
Place your Turkey Meatloaf into the center of the oven and set a 50 minute timer. The meatloaf is ready when an internal thermometer reaches 160 degrees. If it’s not quite there, check again every five minutes. (Mine is usually ready at 55 minutes).
If you want your main dish and sides to be finished at the same time. Start your broccoli to steam when you have about 15 minutes left of cooking time on your oven timer (20 minutes if you are making rice). Then you’re guaranteed to have all of your food ready at the same time.
