Tastes Much Better than Store Bought Dressing

Not only is Greek Salad Dressing and Marinade an easy recipe to make, it tastes so much better and is more cost effective than buying store bought salad dressing. You can customize the amount of salt to your tastes, and you know exactly what is going into your mouth!

Ingredients for Greek Salad Dressing and Marinade

This Greek Salad Dressing and Marinade Recipe is exactly what you’d find in any part of Greece. It’s a simple mix of olive oil, garlic, oregano, salt & pepper, lemon juice and red wine vinegar.

How to Make Greek Salad Dressing and Marinade:

Ingredients:

1/4 Cup Olive Oil (If you can’t find a Greek brand, try Bertolli — you can buy it at any grocery store)

1 Lemon, Juiced

2 Tablespoons Red Wine Vinegar (You may also sub Apple Cider Vinegar)

2 Cloves Garlic, Crushed or 1/2 tsp. Garlic Powder

1 Tablespoon Dried Oregano

1 tsp Salt

1/2 tsp. Pepper

In a small tight fitting mason jar (or a cruet if you have one) add all the ingredients. Make sure the lid is tightly closed and shake well. Taste with a clean spoon and correct  your seasonings to your liking.

Juice a Whole Lemon for this Greek dressing recipe

I like my dressing extra tangy. If it’s not tangy enough, add a dash or two of extra red wine vinegar.

Store the dressing in the refrigerator. It should keep fresh for up to two weeks.
